What do we think of this beauty? A yellow 1972 Datsun 240Z – fully restored. An original UK supplied car with just 3 former keepers from new with the last owner having had it for almost 12 years. Its being sold on Autotrader due to lack of use (only driven 100 miles in the last 7 years!). The car has been dry stored for its entire life, so it’s been treated to a life of luxury and well looked after. Its had a full chassis up restoration including engine and gearbox rebuild which is all documented. The advert states the MOT is current and advisory free until 16th June 2016, so you might want confirmation on that one. Interested? http://www.pistonjuice.com/1972-datsun-240z-yellow/
This 1960 VW Beetle is for sale in the UK for £9000. It’s a 2 owner car and has been in the same family for 50 years! The interior is original and there is no rust. Must be nearly unique in the uk, but does that justify the price?
Wheels are so subjective, aren’t they? We really like the attitude, paint, interior and the execution of the engine bay (if not the replacing of a V12 with a V8) on this 1973 Jaguar XJ, but we can’t get on with those wheels. Something more period would make this car – we still would baulk at the £35k asking price, however. For sale in Norway.
Look at the potential of this! It’s a really straight 1968 Ford Taunus 20m with a 2.9 Cosworth unit and American Racing wheels. Some attention to the stance, to the interior and a tidy up under the hood and this could be a winner. For sale in Norway for £3000. For more cars like this log on to Pistonjuice.com
