What an eighties throwback this is! Konig were a renowned high-end car modifier from Germany whose USP was mega wide-body conversions, complete with in-vogue Ferrari Testarossa style side strakes. The 70’s SL was probably the least appropriate car this conversion could be made to, with its subtle, crisp lines. It does have a certain tongue-in-cheek retro look to in now, but it’s still very much an acquired taste. Only 50 Konig SLs were thought to have ever been converted and this example has only 106,000km on the clock (65,000 miles) and has been well looked after.
