If when you think of Trabant, you think of a beige 70’s cardboard box wheezing through the Berlin wall, then you need to check this out. It’s a 50’s P60, with more style in it’s bakelight steering wheel than the later 601 had in it’s entirety. This example is up for auction with Ardor in Poland, has been in storage for a ‘very long time’ and wears an ‘original’ patina with an ‘unmolested’ wooden structure.

The actual name of this fabulous little beach car is the Fissore Marinella and this example was owned by Princess Ira zu Fürstenberg and is believed to be one of two left in existence. This car is based on a German licensed Fiat, the Fiat-Neckar 600 Multipla. Check out the rear facing semi-circular bench seat in the back and wood effect bumpers and trim!
