The Renault 4 Super was the ‘luxury’ model in the R4 range, and came with this fold down rear hatch instead of the usual hatchback. The glass rear window folded into the bottom hatch like an old American Station Wagon. This is an early example with the smaller front grille, to add more interest to R4 fans. This one needs a new chassis (!) but that work apparently is included in the price.

For sale in Surrey we have a low mileage (22,829 miles) phase 1 R5 GT Turbo. It’s a 3 owner car and has all the original docs and keys. We think the price is too strong, particularly as this is the less desirable phase 1 – the phase 2 was much improved in the looks department. Majestic in French Racing Blue and white go-faster stripe is this very rare and highly collectable (in France!) Renault 12 Gordini. It’s a survivor with 38,000km (23,600 miles) on the clock.
Now check out that price – to be honest we don’t know what these are really worth but we are confident this is a very hopeful price that even a weak Euro can’t help. Cool car though.
