1974 AMC Gremlin

This is no ordinary Gremlin – this little critter packs a 400bhp V8 punch! Subtle Pine Green metallic paint and American Racing Torq Thrust alloys complete the exterior, whilst inside there’s a Grant GT steering wheel and a giant tacho and Hurst T-bar shifter. The 401cu.in.balanced and blueprinted motor includes TRW pistons, AMC dogleg-type heads with AMX SS valves, and a full Lunati package with cam, lifters, springs, and roller rockers. It’s topped with a Holley Street Avenger 750 CFM carburetor and Offenhauser intake. All that for under £15k!

1980 VW Golf GTi

This is a bit of fun – the cheeky ‘Golf’ colours caught our eye, but this is in fact a serious race car that is able to participate in HTCC/Group 1 events. It has a Group N exhaust, Kent cam, circuit breakers and extinguisher, additional gauges, uprated springs and shocks etc etc.

1967 Mini Wood & Pickett

This lovely Mini hatchback was built by the Harold Radford coachbuilders in 1967 and has somehow made its way to Paris, where it is now for sale. It’s an original car with ‘a beautiful patina’, full length sunroof and a Downton tuned engine. It’s at a very healthy £25,100 at the time of writing, with 3 days to go on the eBay auction. We’ll update the price once the auction ends.

1983 Renault 5 Turbo

1963 Renault 4 Super

The Renault 4 Super was the ‘luxury’ model in the R4 range, and came with this fold down rear hatch instead of the usual hatchback. The glass rear window folded into the bottom hatch like an old American Station Wagon. This is an early example with the smaller front grille, to add more interest to R4 fans. This one needs a new chassis (!) but that work apparently is included in the price.

1990 Mazda 323 GTR

Very rare Mazda 4WD 323 made for homologation to World Rally. One of 2500 made and not to be confused with the UK spec GTX. This example has only done 67,000km (41,600 miles) and is described as in ‘concourse’ condition. It’s nice to see one of these completely standard, and as prices for quattros, Integrales and Imprezas continue to rise, we should see cars like this become recognised as collectable in their own right.

1983 Talbot Samba Rally

Here we have a genuine and very rare Talbot Samba Group B rally car for sale in France. Check out those quattro-like wheel arch blisters! Lots of work has been done to the car to get it fully prepared but it looks like it’s not run in anger for a while. It’s difficult to assess how many of these are actually left in the world – this one would make a great addition to the Goodwood Festival of Speed rally stage if it was nicely stickered up.

1972 Honda N360

This one has 22,000km on the clock and 2 owners from new with lots of documentation, 2 keys and the original owners manuals – from these we can see it was originally registered in France. 1993 Sbarro Onyx

From the mad mind of Switzerland’s Franco Sbarro came this Citroen ZX based one-off from 1993. Citroen provided the car to Sbarro’s design studio where his students were tasked with creating a body-kit to uplift the sharp but frankly dull lines of the ZX. This is the only one ever made and is for sale in Switzerland for a not entirely unreasonable £6050. The car has only ever travelled 4500km (2800 miles), probably because the owners were terrified of damaging the irreplaceable kit!
