This Scirocco has been restored, the vendor stating that only the front wings needed replacing. Parts for these cars as so expensive when you can find them, that restoration is often not viable, hence the high price of good cars. Unfortunately this one is an automatic, but if that’s your thing then this must be one of the best available.

This is the special edition Storm version of the Mk1 Scirocco, identifiable by the Zender front spoiler. Only 618 were sold in the UK and this survivor has mega low mileage with just 19,908 on the clock. The car looks expensive but you have to remember that parts are just not available for these cars so restoration of a bad one would cost too much to be viable. This car has been stored from 1998 to 2010 and the new owner has replaced the cambelt and water pump.
