Here’s a rarity – the Brazilian made Puma GT, in convertible form. This one has be subject to a complete restoration just 2000 miles ago. Everything from the interior to the engine is in show-car condition, and the silver paint and factory supplied wheels suit it really well. It has a 4 speed manual box and a 1600 VW engine out back, so go should match the show.

This Scirocco has been restored, the vendor stating that only the front wings needed replacing. Parts for these cars as so expensive when you can find them, that restoration is often not viable, hence the high price of good cars. Unfortunately this one is an automatic, but if that’s your thing then this must be one of the best available.

According to howmanyleft.com, there are no 1978 1600 Beta Coupes registered in the UK, so if you want one Italy is now your best bet. They are still around in numbers there, and prices are sensible. Take this deep blue example with only 63,000km on the clock (39,000 miles) for under £4000. Photos show no obvious rust, the major issue with any Lancia of this period and the interior looks very well kept. The dealer will accept sensible offers.

Now PistonJuice is not suggesting that by it’s inclusion on the site an Austin Princess is a great car, but what we are concerning ourselves with is the fact that buying, owning and maintaining this car is tantamount to ensuring it does not go extinct in this country. There are only seven licensed Princess HLS Autos left in the UK, and this one must surely be the best. It’s only done 10,813 fully documented miles since new and has had 3 very careful owners. The interior and under bonnet area all look immaculate, and the full-length sunroof is a superb extra bonus. We are not sure this car is worth £7,000, but would be very happy if someone thought it was worth that to save this model from potential extinction.

This oh-so-retro Dodge B100 short van is for sale in Norway for around £8000. Loads of work has been done – not least a re-spray last year. Wheels and tyres, exhaust, gearbox and brakes are all new too. The interior has been completely re-trimmed – now all you need is a rock band and a festival to go to!

Very nice looking RX7 Savanna with only 74,000km (46,000 miles) on the clock. This is one of the earlier editions with the square over-riders by the rear number plate and looks in good original condition and is for sale a reasonable £6320.

And now for something completely different. This Sierra is one of 2 Cabrios built, based on the Dodge Aspen Coupe platform from the same period. This example was delivered to the Swiss publisher Frey de Berne, the other is in the Monteverdi museum. It’s covered 24,000km (15,000 miles) and is said to be in excellent condition. Crazy money for what is a plain looking car on an unexciting chassis, it’s no where near as glamorous as the Monteverdi’s that proceeded it that are now fetching top money.

Very cool Corvette Pace Car with only 943 miles on the clock. Described as ‘properly stored and protected but driven sufficiently to keep everything working correctly throughout its life’.
Completely standard and original with the decals applied (they came with the car but were left to the owner to add).
One of these sold at auction in the USA for $86,400 (£57,000), this one is for sale for £34,999.
