This car was actually raced by Emerson Fittipaldi at Interlagos in Brazil and finished a sensational 3rd beating much more powerful exotica along the way. Available from Kucarfa in the Netherlands, if you get a chance check out the website, they have some amazing stock!

When you think of ’90’s rally legends, thoughts rarely turn to Mazda. However, this 323 or ‘Familia’ as it was known in Japan, is worthy of inclusion. Only 200 were made in white and this example must be one of the best remaining. The price may look a little heavy, but compare it to a Delta Evo of the same era and it starts to look reasonable value!
Now bear with us on this one – it’s quite a rare beast with only 1000 made and its been done properly by respected German tuner Irmscher and we think it wouldn’t take much to make this look really good. Junk the silly stickers, white wall tyres, daft steering wheel and add a set of period Corsa/Nova seats and maybe a subtle lowering kit and you’ll have a fantastically rare and cool little machine.
The ultimate street sleeper? Could be! With its Civic Type-R engine and Integra gearbox, up-rated suspension, wheels, tyres and brakes, this pocket rocket could frighten the most capable of modern hot hatches, as we expect it weighs about the same as the drivers door of the current Type R resulting in a spectacular power to weight ratio! Mind you, at around £26k at the current exchange rate, it needs to be! Just remove the badge from the boot ASAP please…
The IFA F9 was a compact and very elegant saloon manufactured under the auspices of the Russian and East German states between 1950 and 1956 – this example is a late 1955 model and presents in largely original condition. The owner is looking for offers over £7750 and its seems the brakes need attention, so if you can find your way to Norway – bring a trailer!
Now we think we are pretty clued up when it comes to cars, but this little cutey has so far eluded us – the fantastically named Mitsubishi Minica Skipper IV. For sale in Norway for a not inconsiderable £7,500, you’d have to really want it to stump up that kind of cash for a car that clearly needs some love. And with parts made of unobtainium, even in Japan, we wish you good luck!

Restored Cosworth Mercedes 190 in the best colour – the same as Ayrton Senna’s famous race car.
New paint, overhauled engine, new rubber and a new exhaust system should make this example as good as new. Cheap, if you consider its period rival, the E30 M3 and the prices they reach now.

Bargain alert! Get yourselves down to Italy and grab a Euro bargain. The beige DS Special has an auto box and has had body and interior refurbishment last year. Mechanics are said to be ‘perfect’ and the ‘plumbing’ has been overhauled. The car looks sweet in the pictures and at €7500 (£5570 0n 7th Feb) if its anything as good as the pics and description this one should go fast.

Restored Nissan Patrol from 1967, imported from the USA. This is one of less than a thousand soft tops imported and has the 4.0litre 6 cylinder engine.
Why have an obvious Land Cruiser FJ when you could have one of these.
